Villa Sun and sea 1 front de mer Playa Rocca Costa Teguise

The accommodation was beautiful and in a great location. I would just imagine the cleaning to be more thorough. Towels and tea towels would also need replacing. There were issues with the bathroom but eventually resolved. I recommend it despite all the shortcomings.

The pool was lovely, the apartment itself was clean e.g., kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. The double bed was comfortable.

The picture of the large ‘terrace’ with sun beds on it is not taken from this apartment. Very misleading and if I had known I probably wouldn’t have booked it. There is only the little terrace pictured with the row of cream chairs which is nice but very narrow. This really disappointed us as I had imagined us sat in the evening with a glass of wine on the one advertised (picture number 24). I don’t know where the picture has been taken from but is definitely not 27b! The couch in the living room was filthy (so we didn’t use it). On the first morning of our stay I realised there was no kettle so I messaged Luna and asked for one, lovely lady, she told me she would bring one but never did even after a few texts saying she would. This left us boiling water in a pan for a cuppa every morning, this was for the duration of the stay which was inconvenient to say the least. I also got a message from Luna asking what time we were leaving the apartment the following day, this really bothered me as we weren’t due to leave until the day after that, I sent a screen shot of my booking and was told by Luna that she trusted me and it must have been a mix up on dates. Then heard nothing. I have to admit I could have done with a text confirming this was the case because I half expected someone to be stood outside the apartment with their cases ready to kick us out. Unfortunately the twin room beds were really uncomfortable and the pillows were really thin. There have been mentions in the reviews about the lack of keys (only 1 set). We weren’t concerned about this until the last day when we were leaving. We were meant to leave the key on the table inside the apartment closing the door (self latching) behind us, as discussed with Luna on day 1 and via text. Thank goodness I realised that I still needed the key to get out of the gate at the front of the apartment block, otherwise we would have been locked out of the apartment and unable to leave the complex where our taxi was waiting.

It was a lovely clean apartment, Luna the staff was excellent and very helpful. It was very close to the boardwalk and there were restaurants nearby.

The shower kept over flowing into the kitchen area, the staff did try and fix it which did help and we requested more towels which we got with no issue. Having only one set of keys was a constant issue, especially when the one set included the main key to get out of the complex. I would highly suggest giving two sets of keys with each apartment

Communication from Luna was fantastic, she was prompt to reply on arrival and departure. Location was fab. The back gate leads you straight onto the coastal walk into town. Sea views the whole way. We had our 3 year old with us who loved it. Playgrounds 10 minutes away and beautiful beaches 15/20. Apartment was the perfect size. The extra touches made life easier, salt/ pepper for cooking, toilet rolls and kitchen cleaning products/ utensils. Netflix for a movie night. If ever in Costa Teguise we would happily stay again.

Nothing major. The pool was cold for a 3 year old but that's pretty standard in lanzarote in private complexes and didn't stop our 3 year old getting in. Some hooks for towels would be good and limited storage for groceries meant cluttering the table/ worktop. Just small things. Overall it was great!

Lunas appartment was lovely and spacious, garden was perfect for a family stay , gets the sun all day 🌞, contact with the owner was fantastic through our stay , location ideal with bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk , main square 15 mins away , beautiful walk out the back gate along the coast . we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning

I liked the location. If you went out the back gate of the complex it led onto a long, and pretty coastal walk. This was the best way to get into Costa Teguise main town. I also liked the swimming pool area, which was never too busy and was close to the apartment. There was a small area outside apartment to sit and it caught the sun from early in the morning to lunchtime. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. If you wanted to cook.

The apartment could do with a few additional items to make it better. There was nowhere to put towels in the bathroom, a towel holder or hooks on door would help. The lock on the bathroom door did not work either. An additional key would also be helpful as it meant if you wanted to go out on your own, another person had to go and open the gate for you.
