Tresa Bay House - Lugano Lake

Very good location, including secured parking, everything needed in the house was there.

The double bed could be replaced with a better one and bedding seemed very old.

Nice flat, fully equipped in the heart of Ponte Tresa. The garage comes in very handy but is a bit small if you have a large car. Claudia is a very responsive host, we had some troubles with the heating but she helped us managing it. Would definitely recommend the house.

The floor is very cold in the winter so bring an extra pair of socks 😉 otherwise all fine

Wifi very very slow

The apartment feels larger than 120sqm. Its 250m from a playground. There is a Saturday market next to the playground (which our toddler loved). Another playground about 30 minutes stroll around the lake. There are easily a weeks worth of enjoyable day trips. Supermarkets around the corner, which the Swiss seem to love. Kitchen is excellent. Note: We restarted the internet box when we arrived because it was running sluggishly, worked fast after that.

Probably the closest Italian town to Lugano. Very nice and clean. Well equipped, there is also dryer machine. The host left for us a bottle of sparkling wine, pasta + sauce, two bottles of soft drinks and a bottle of sparkling water. Private parking under the house, but it is not big , we had Jeep Renegade that fitted but bigger car may not fit there. There is a supermarket nearby.

The blinds on windows let light through.

The stay was amazing, the house is very modern & clean and very cosy, we felt like at home. We loved the Prosecco and pasta as welcome, it is a small gesture that makes guests feel at home and for sure makes them going back to that property.

The apartment is big, clean and has everything you need. The self check in and check-out are very smooth and the communication with the host was also wonderful. We also got a PDF including all information we needed and recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing etc. which was very helpful! Moreover we were surprised by a bottle of Prosecco, a few drinks and Italian food.

There is not much going on in Lavena Ponte Tresa. Also the apartment was a bit cold, but the host increased the temperature by one degree immediately after we mentioned it.
