GBBeautifully decorated and in a great location. You can tell a lot of effort has been made to make it a lovely holiday let. Absolutely spotless. The owner responded to any messages almost immediately.
No lock on the bathroom door which wasn't ideal for our group. The pub next door was quite noisy on the Saturday night. It was expensive for what it was, but it was the weekend of the air show, which was why we visited, so understandable.
GBThis was a welcome stop over on the journey back after a very bad experience at another property we had booked for a holiday. It was clean, well organised and nicely furnished. We appreciated the smart TV and well-equipped kitchen. The host was responsive and helpful.
However, the property was a bit hard to find, largely because of unexpected roadworks, which the host informed us about. The entrance is quite narrow for an SUV and the roadworks made it difficult to enter. The parking area is large but the accommodation is next door, which made it difficult to carry luggage across the pebbled drive and up the road to the accommodation. Also, there is noise from traffic and the nearby pub. If this isn't a problem for you, it's a nice place to stay.

Unfortunately the lock on the gate was broken so we couldn’t leave the front door open to allow cool air on a very hot day, that was just bad luck and timing for us. Also walking bags down the road from the parking wasn’t ideal in the heat and post surgery.
