AUIt was comfortable and clean. Good sized rooms and convenient for our needs visiting relatives.
Some more hanging space and some way of making coffee would be good though in fact we managed OK.
GBThe private gravelled garden was excellent for the dog. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The layout was good with the lounge/diner/kitchen upstairs and the bedrooms/bathroom downstairs.
There was no clothes hanging rail in one of the bedrooms. There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom and the bathroom door didn't open/shut easily so we had to leave it semi-closed when we were in there. However, the shower was very good. There was no double glazing and the property is right next to a main road so I found it hard to sleep. Other people might be more used to traffic noise. There were a few things missing from the kitchen which would have been useful e.g. scissors, teapot/coffee pot, measuring jug, washing-up bowl.
GBWe stayed at The Stables as a stopover on our way to Wales and enjoyed our night in the old town. Host was excellent, great communication and property more than met our needs. Excellent location for pubs and food.

I had my elderly parents with me, so no bath mat and/or grab rails in shower was only thing raised that would have been better for their safety
GBLovely comfortable stay in 2 bedroom cotrage with parking available, easy check in and late check out. Although check-in was officially from 3pm, the owners messaged to say we could check in earlier - very kind. The bedrooms & bathroom were downstairs which was very useful for my friend who couldn't manage the stairs. We were also able to eat outside in the garden space. My friend and I were visiting her mum in Swindon hospital. The apartment was well located for this and for Swindon area generally with plenty of shopping and eating options nearby. Nice to have somewhere so comfortable to stay after the long drive there.
Just that the description and photos don't show that the cottage is on 2 floors. Thankfully having the outside space to eat in solved the access problem.

LVVery nice, recently renovated place to stay!
Navigation directed us to different address when we used street and number. Luckily postal code was good, this though has been a problem in UK in general, at least for apple maps.

GBIt was very clean and spacious. We were provided with fresh milk , tea and coffee. Comfi beds.
Loud pubs around the corner- nothing the owners could do about it I suppose!
