Pata de Perro Bacalar

Location is great if you want to stay right in the main square, and specifically useful if you are just passing by coming from Belize in the Marlin Espadas bus, that stops just across the square. Bed was confortable and fridge is a bonus for keeping water and drinks cold. Discount at the restaurant (nice breakfast menus) apreciated!

Can be bit noisy because is in the main square. The AC wasn't great as it took some time to get the room cold.

We were made very welcome by the staff on site. The kitchen and our room were large. Extremely clean and eco minded.

The bed was a little hard. The kitchen could be a little better equipped - no microwave and the toaster was broken.

Kitchen is good, there is a coffee machine fridge and blender. The hostel is located on the edge of the central park so you have all around.

My room didn't have a window towards outside, most a small opening at 2m. Didn't bother me much because I didn't spend much time in the room.

The property is in a great location and the staff are really lovely and friendly. The room was a nice size and clean.

We were next to the luggage storage area which is very loud when people go in and out of them so there was lots of banging really early in the morning.

The location couldn’t get any better. Right on the main square and central to everything. Bathroom/shower was always clean and the bed was quite comfy. Lots of reviews saying that it’s really loud but it wasn’t too bad.

Needs thicker curtains as when the light comes on in the middle of the night in the hallway you can see it through them.

Javier the receptionist was a great advisor and really nice ! The hostel was clean and is very well located.
