Ideal location and check in was very accommodating!

Poor internet in the separate/double bed suite and the private rooms have very little natural light.

Central location in front of the plaza, nearby the the castle and close to the beachfront. Apartment is very roomy and luminous. Mosquito net on all windows. All facilities functioning well. Good bed!

During our WE stay, music from neighbours bars was on until midnight. But that probably what you have to pay for being in very central location…

Nice staff, clean, kitchen with drinking water and basic cooking supplies

Shared bathroom could be cleaned more regularly than just beginning of each day, the listing should inform guests that this on top of and close to a number of other restaurants and right in front of a very noisy park and music goes onto the early morning so very hard to get a good night's sleep.

Best location (but very loud, be aware of that), for exploring Bacalar. But a bit far off from the ADO Bus Station (expect a 20min hike through the heat). Free water (if you ask!).

Very loud location until late at night. Every day. Not really helpful hosts. Quiet old and most of the room facilities are outdated or not usable anymore. Too expensive for what it is

The hostal itself is cute and the staff very nice.

Don't stay here. The music from the main square was so loud that we couldn't sleep at all, either with ear plugs. It went on until the morning 8AM. It was new years celebration, but the night before wasn't better, so I guess this is standard. The shared bathroom is also super dirty. We needed to cancel the rest of our stay (3 of 5 nights) and also didn't get any refund.

Nice place, cool vibe, calm. Tasty food in the nearby reastaurant. Near everything in Bacalar. Comfy bed and good wifi. Warm shower.

A bit annoying check in with signing papers and checking passport with a little attitude...

The top floor is nice, with a place to sit and have a meal. I had a nice and clean room with windows facing the park. The common bathroom was clean and tidy. Good conditions in the kitchen.

Be aware that the location comes with a noisy environment. There is a mix of different music from the neighbourhood restaurants plus the club nearby. The location is great, but in a way in contradiction with the atmosphere of Bacalar with all that noise.

Well located, just opposite of the park. Very clean place and friendly staff.

The ground floor room, located behind the reception was humid and dark. The only window was facing the bar on the neighbouring building, just two meters away, which was bringing constant noise. Also the staff from the bar were all the time around talking. A bit unpleasant feeling.
