Only one of the 4 windows in our room would open and it was extremely warm weather. The one window we could open we had to make a wedge to ensure the sash window would stay open. The room needed some maintenance on the windows.

Very big apartment few things missing like sharp knives, cheese grater and no oven gloves. Had to use the one thin teatowel to get food out oven. Needs a bit of maintenance to tidy it up

"Disappointing!"

The location and surroundings are stunning.

From the moment we arrived there was no information given at reception about breakfast or proper instructions about where our room was. We then went to the room that was an apartment that had not been cleaned properly. Chairs on tables and the floor was filthy. There was a cupboard in the basement bedroom that someone had weed in and stank of urine. No welcome book, no tea and coffee or milk and sugar provided. No cloth to clean dishes. The spa closed to children at 6pm and at 5.40pm the pool attendant refused entry to our children despite it being the hottest day of the year. I complained and a guest relations manager did help us offered alternative accommodation that was unfortunately not suitable and allowed us to use the pool. Breakfast was a disappointment over priced and was nothing more than a cheap greesy spoon cafe. The breakfast room was dirty and the plates were dirty. I have been told I will get a 50% refund I will wait and see if this appears on my card.

Really peaceful area, amazing spa facilities on site, and helpful staff. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was perfect for us and really good value. Had a lovely time!

"Lovely weekend treat"

The facilities were good, especially the spa. And convenient for what we needed during our stay.

There was no sign of where reception was and the names of rooms or where to go.. we spent half an hour roaming trying to find reception.
