The property did not include breakfast....The welcome was first class...Joy was lovely..The property was perfect in every way...We enjoyed the hot tub immensely..It really enhanced our stay...It was a lovely wedding anniversary celebration for us

Absolutely amazing host and accommodation was perfect for us. Had our own privacy with our own garden to enjoy the hot tub. Accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay and more.

Quiet with its own garden and scrumptiously clean Hot Tub. Secluded, secure, peaceful and very comfortable . A very warm welcome from the owner. Joy has thought of all those little extras that make it feel more of a luxury stay. Dressing gowns, slippers, dedicated Hot Tub towels and shoes. Tea/coffee machine, biscuits. Ample seating variety outside. Walking distance to a pub. We had the good weather so it’s a lovely sun trap as well 🤩. So glad we have found The Retreat we will definitely return.

This little gem is fantastic, such a lovely place, the hot tub is brilliant, the owner has thought of everything. Milk in the fridge, towels, robes and shoes for going in the hot tub. Super clean.

Nothing, can’t find anything I didn’t like.

June was there to meet us upon arrival with a friendly greeting and handed over the keys. She also explained everything we needed to know regarding the hot tub and facilities inside the lodge.
