super central location (yes, we knew about Rosies being next door before we arrived, so the sound of happy people in the street did not bother us) really nice and well equipped apartment Host replies quickly to enquiries

be aware of the damage deposit policy - a non-refundable damage waiver worth 75 GBP is promoted as the best option! the other alternative was a 350 GBP refundable deposit, which was held for a week (only displayed in the last step of online check-in)

Great central location, recently updated apartment, so clean and compact. Would be great for over the night / weekend bolt hole if "out on the town", especially if travelling by train / bus. As a regular family visitor our needs are as slightly different so won't book again. Sorry.

Refurbished sash windows have had the counter weights removed. Top window fixed shut. Bottom window so heavy you can't effectively open it...so no fresh air. Bed against window wall so can't position yourself for safe lifting (or getting out of bed without climbing over partner) If you did, with central location, (great) it could be noisy. Not an issue for us...but 2nd floor, steep steps, no lift.

Really central location and a well equipped little apartment, great facilities and finishing touches, the team were quick to respond when needed too.

We stayed here when there was a heatwave and a fan in the room would have really helped!

This property is in the heart of Chester, right in the middle of everything you could possibly want. It's on an historic street, with a beautiful view of the buildings out of the room. The location really is brilliant, a 15 minute walk down the canal and over the walls from the station, and a similar distance from good parking. We could explore the whole city and still pop back into the apartment for a snack (or a nap!). The apartment itself is very cleverly designed, it's got a good sized powerful shower, a good kitchenette with a fridge, a place to sit and eat and a comfortable bed. We had some very minor issues when we first arrived at the property (nothing which prevented our enjoyment) but the communication from the team was second to none. They responded quickly and in a very professional manner, and sorted the issue as soon as was feasibly possible (given we arrived later on a Friday). I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. I don't think you can get a better location for the cost in Chester.

It's not a dislike - but caution that this property is in the centre of Chester, which has a very vibrant nightlife and the building itself has the original single paned windows. The owners have prepared for this and there are earplugs available, but if you are a light sleeper it's good to be aware of this. The location is second to none and I personally am happy to accept the noise to be able to be so central.
