This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

In this year, we had cold, so we plan to set a higher temperute in the room, but our heating not worked enough on our first 2 nights. Later it was fixed. It was also quite cold in the restaurant (my husband had seated in jacket during breakfast)

Stunning property with glamorous designs and an amazing spa. The restaurant offers great peruvian cuisine, and there is a bar with international food as well. Staff is very supportive to accomodate special needs and plan services. We had a great relaxing time after our journey to Machu Picchu, and that gave a nice touch to the end of our trip.

Communication between the hotel staff and Booking .com can improve. Apparently that is done through and operator, and not handled by the hotel directly, which may cause miscommunication and delays in getting responses. After we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very supportive, but the booking process could have been easier.

Beds were soooo comfortable and hotel was beautiful. Lamas hung out in the lobby everyday

We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and the food was not good at all. My husband got horrible food poisoning from a beef dish at dinner. It also felt like we were being nickled and dimed for everything. My husband was super sick and I requested oxygen. They brought it to my room and a second later I received a credit card charge. It didnt look like a mariott corporate hotel but felt like one for sure. I also would not book this hotel if you are only booking for the train station. The 1st 1.5 hours was freezing cold and did not include the coffee and snack. The “real” experience doesnt start until you get to Ollanyantambo where the pick up passengers and finally turn the heat on and start the coffee service and guided tour train ride. It definitely is more worth it to stay in Ollanytambo as its close to everything and train ride is better.

Hotel rooms are nice,food is good.

check in is terrible,on both visits our rooms were not ready.The first visit we had to wait an hour on or second visit we were told rooms would not be ready till six pm.Hotel is far too dark particularly at breakfast wher you can hardly see what’s on offer.
