DSTV did not work, or maybe I just had a grey moment!

Nor the tv or the decoder work and we reported it and nobody came as promised to fix it! U cannot switch in the bathroom light The sliding door are broken The bathroom vanity looks disgusting The keys were not in the box at the gate We had to phone for the keys Deep freeze over freezed Curtains and blinds dirty

No elevator

Good location, parking is secure. There's a fan if you need but you get a nice breeze through the flat. Nice view and it has a fridge, kettle etc that you need.

The bathroom sliding door just needs some work. When sliding it switches off the light for the bathroom and kitchen. The handle of the door also hits the tile so there's a possibility it cracks. I put some tape to stop it banging. Also had to use the broom to leverage the door so it could slide with a gap so that the light stayed on. There's a musty smell in one kitchen cupboard above the stove. Just avoided using that.

The location was Perfect, close to shops, everything I need was just a walk away.

The location was ideal within walking distance from the V&A Waterfront as well as the Graduate School of Business. There are plenty of shops and restuarants around to ensure that one can easily access groceries and meals during the stay. The secure parking is a definite plus. The size of the bed a plus. The accommodation is adequate and I did appreciate the extra set of keys made available quickly on request

Unfortunately there were a few issues. The DSTV satelite television was faulty and actually blew one of my personal adaptors. This was reported from day one and in the 12 days we were there is was not repaired hence no television facilitated as advertised for the period of the stay and we gave up requesting daily after day 5. With WifI availabilty I would suggest a Smart TV be supplied instead of DSTV. The cover of the freezer unit in the fridge is missing and this causes your food in the normal compartment to freeze. The lid for the bin is missing which is not very hygienic. I notice both these issues reported in a previous review. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired and a lot of dirt is present behind beds, on switches, on lamp shades etc. A complete mismatch of crockery and cutlery is present. Maintenance is poor overall and the cupboard door handle is broken. The gate remote for vehicle access is very temperamental and at times one has to exit the vehicle to get it to work. The water pressure from the shower extension is very bad. I was there for a long stay and was surprised to hear that loo paper is not supplied for long stays once you finish off the initial three roles supplied.
