Juliet's Dream Suite - City Center

Excellent location. High level of finish and very clean.

Air con doesn’t seem to work. It was warm in the apartment and we couldn’t seem to get it cool using the A/C controls. Fans are available and we used them even though it was only mid 20s degrees. I would be cautious to hire this in the middle of the summer months.

Modern, well designed, stylish

Just one small issue with the air conditioning, we couldn’t work out how to turn it down so the apartment was a little warmer than we wanted it to be, perhaps some instructions would help.

Absolutely stunning appartment, and well equipped (barring the AC issue below). The best we stayed in. The location in the heart of the historic centre was also perfect (as along as you don't have a car and big cases - see below). We would stay there again for a longer time, or without the car and big cases, althoguh it was wrong for this trip as we were.

Instructions for finding the appartment could be a bit clearer. To most people (at least in the UK) "left of the lift" means face the lift and the door on the left. Apparently here it means on your left as you step out of the lift, which we didn't as we couldn't get it to work at the bottom. But it was a minor niggle - we got there. The AirCon didn't work. Even when our host talked us through changing it (which made the same changes I'd made using Google translate) - nothing. He did give us access to a fan from the laundry room that night, but with the noise and dry throat it wasn't a great night. Booking.com shouldn't allow listings to count as having parking, when it's a mile away out of the historic centre. This wasn't apparent until after a non-refundable payment was made for the property. I accept that there is no parking in the centre, but when I list parking as a requirement, I expect town-centre properties that can't offer this to be filtered out. With big heavy cases, being able to park outside was much more important than location to us - the paid overnight parking they offer didn't cut it. We were able to drop our car off in the morning which was good, but coming into the centre for the day sightseeing, then going back to the car, then back in with our bags once we could check-in- it was all too much, and we were utterly exhausted when we got into the appartment. There is a small private car park at the back of the property - if they could secure a space there it would be perfect!

WiFi very poor and apartment very very hot , we could not turn down the heating
