Glade 50 Bideford Bay Holiday Park

We enjoyed our two nights here. Easy and friendly instructions from the hosts. Lovely and clean on arrival, spacious, very well-equipped with lots of crockery, cooking utensils, washing liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc, which was very welcome. Great towels and comfy bedding. Beautiful area to explore, especially Westward Ho and Hartland Abbey.

Would have loved to have given this a higher score but there was an overpowering smell from the en-suite to the main bedroom that was difficult to escape from. We ended up needing to leave the windows in there and the room open fully when we were in. A real shame as the caravan is more of a luxury model and everything else about our stay was perfect. nB Swimming and WiFi are chargeable extras on-site, which I did expect after staying at similar places beforehand but useful for others to know. Swimming was £4 for an adult and £3 for a child and you could return back all day if you kept the receipt. WiFi was £5.95 for 24 hours.

The property was spotless very well set out and maintained, we won’t hesitate to come back again

The caravan was great!!! It had everything you needed,it was clean and comfortable, the park was lovely, the food was really delicious, me,my partner and baby will definitely come back next year if there's availability. Mark was easy to contact also . Great first birthday and first summer holiday for our daughter.

This is a excellent holiday break the caravan was the best we stayed at, We stay at a lot of caravans through out the year this why I gave it the stars I did.

I can actually say that they thought of everything so we liked it all.

Super geräumig, für alle war ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Super war die ruhige Lage und der Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Sehr gute Ausstattung mit allem was man braucht.

Die Küche hätte noch etwas besser ausgestattet sein können, was einige Utensilien angeht, wie Pfannenwender, Schneebesen, Suppenteller, Schneidebrettchen.

Holiday park was great, caravan was in a good location and very cosy. The host quickly sorted out an issue as soon as I contacted them.

I think the cleaning let it down a bit and one towl provided had holes in. It would have been nice if some hand soap was provided.

Lovely and very comfortable static. Great that they allow dogs to stay. Nice position on the site with a fabulous veranda and parking. A very quiet and peaceful stay during weekdays in june. The facilities like the pool and bar / restaurant were great to have, with beautiful views and the staff on site were very friendly and welcoming. Stunning (but steep) walk down to Bucks mill's dog friendly beach from the car park at the top of the village. We would definitely stay here again.

It would have been great to have some hand soap provided as everything else was. A hook or rail for a hand towel in the bathroom would have been useful and it would have been nice for the veranda to have been swept before our arrival. Everything else was great.

Very impressed with the caravan. Spacious and with everything we could possibly need. Quiet part of the site, comfy beds, good showers and a bath
