Glade 50 Bideford Bay Holiday Park

Really good location, 10 minutes away from Clovelly (which is fantastic), a few minutes drive from big shops and less than an hour away from other major locations. The resort is small but well equipped with a cosy restaurant (we haven't eaten there so I can't vouch for food), a small but well managed indoor swimming pool (£5 for adults, £4 for kids over 3) and a convenient Nisa shop with decent prices (more expensive than bigger shops but not outrageous). The place was fairly clean (a few cob webs) and well furnished. The host was available and kindly agreed for us to have a BBQ by the premises (we provided the BBQ).

A bit of a hiccup at the arrival where the cleaner forgot to leave the keys to let us in. We contacted the owner on the day (via text and calls) and still have to hear back from him...although we're now back at home! Thankfully the resort reception managed to contact the cleaner but initially it was a bit of a nightmare as they said they were not allowed to do anything as the place had not been rented by them directly but by the owner. No sugar, tea or coffee, a first since we rented similar locations. It would have been a nice touch.

The caravan has a lovely comfy interior and comes with mod cons and the host was very helpful.
