"Perfect stay"

Julian was brilliant from the very start of booking this property, gave us some really helpful info about the area and the property well in advance of the stay. The property was lovely and perfect, would definitely recommend and if I'm looking for a place to stay in Liverpool again this is at the top of my list.

Parking at the door.

I booked this house for two days, from the reviews and photes it looked good, but for us the reality was far from good. The stale smell as soon as we opened the front door to the disgusting smell from the shower drains in both bathrooms (this is usually due to a dry P-trap or poor maintenance of the drains allowing the buildup of organic materal from hair and soap scum creating bacterial or mold growth). I could tell this old house has problems. Some of cutlery was not cleaned and the old plates were greasy also the carpet on the stairs hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner in a long time. As I was the one who booked this house I was embarrassed to have taken my guests to such a place. We spent approximately 10 hours in the house then we vacated the house and moved to the Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village Hotel where I booked 2 rooms at a high premium.

"Great stay in lovely accommodation"

Really clean, bed linen and towels were very good. Plenty of crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery. Situated in a nice quiet residential area only 5 minute walk from bus stop (15 minutes in to Liverpool) with regular buses. Big Tesco only 10 minute walk, local shops only 5 mins away. We are 3 70 year old ladies who were visiting Liverpool to go to the theatre. Had a wonderful stay and communication with the owner was excellent.

Not didn't like, but the stairs are quiet steep and one of us (aged 70) couldn't manage them. But fortunately there was a downstairs bedroom and toilet/shower room
