In state of repair & could do with painting

Location was brilliant and property was dog friendly

It was not very clean in communal areas. Oven, freezer cupboards etc all needed a deep clean. We never cooked as didn’t feel comfortable using anything. Toilet seat was loose. Back yard was a disgrace with a filthy table and a broken rattan sofa frame that looked ready for the skip. As it was £140 per night you expect cleanliness at least but just looked like they’d lost interest. We would have left if we could have found somewhere else. Wouldn’t recommend it

Excellent location, spacious house and lovely to have off road parking. Friendly and flexible host who responded rapidly to questions.

Some areas of the house are a little tired and could do with a spruce up but all absolutely fine and comfortable.

Location in walking distance to all the local shops and bars/restaurants. Free off-road parking. House size and room sizes well proportioned. The beds were comfy. Host did try to fix some issues when we first arrived.

The previous reviews do not match the experience we had. House generally wasn’t very clean, cobwebs in all the bedrooms, stair and landing carpet needs a deep clean. Kitchen lacked utensils and some basic cooking equipment like a jug, microwavable/oven dishes, oven trays etc. Oven and fridge/freezer not clean. Most drawers and cupboards in the house were full of personal belongings, household repair equipment, bed sheets etc. Towels had seen better days. None of the bed sheets/duvet matched and most were ripped or poppers broken. Bathroom needs updating especially the shower, head wouldn’t stay upright, needs resealing and doors leave a gap so water ends up on the floor, the shower is also extremely small, especially for the size if the room. Outside space was not useable, even though advertised as was. The whole house needs work to bring it up to standard both for presentation and cleanliness, until this is done we wouldn’t stay here again.

Fantastic location - few minutes walk to several lovely restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Very close to beaches and priory/castle. A café and bakery almost on the doorstep. Lovely, feel-good welcome at all locations. The home's drive allows for two cars. Quite, residential location. Lots of space, upstairs & downstairs. Dog friendly. Helpful & available host. Everything included. 15 minutes drive from central Newcastle. Great location for parents spending time with university students.

The location, having off road parking, the space, 2 sitting rooms, comfortable beds, friendly owner and staff member - had difficulty with the tv which was sorted to our satisfaction and having access to Netflix 😊

The only thing I can think of is maybe more new cups? The coat hooks were above the bin in the kitchen so maybe having some in the hall would be good?

Great location within walking distance of Tynemouth village and some beautiful beaches. Spacious property with 3 double bedrooms. Secure outdoor area for our dog. Good communication with owners who were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money and just what we needed for our weekend stay

A few minor issues with general maintenance. The main ones I brought to the attention of the owner while we were there and I’m sure will be addressed. The decking area needs tidying but it is out of season so this may be planned for better weather.
