Suite a mare - Casa della Poetessa

Locatia,vederea de la balcon,care sunt exceptionale,nu justifica pretul camerei.

Nu inspira igienizare,baterii necuratate si fara indicatori pentru apa calda,capac wc ingalbenit de timp,canapele si fotolii patate si deformate,obiecte de mobilier deplorabile.

The location is by far the absolute biggest draw of this lovely property. Right in the throng of the best part of Polignano, with to die for views and lovely places to eat right on the doorstep. We actually cooked every day just so we could enjoy the amazing sunset and view from the cute balcony. Once you've parked up (and there is free parking around 10 mins walk) you literally don't have to move your car as you can walk to all the best cafes and points of interest. Obviously the famous beach is the biggest plus, and despite us being unlucky with the weather, we still got to enjoy the beauty of it from above. It's also quite a cosy little place and we liked the "shabby chic" element of it and the artworks. We would absolutely return just for this view and location! The host was also very kind and easy to chat to, and very responsive, even giving us restaurant recommendations for our first day.

We love to cook, and the kitchen is really below par in terms of facilities. Fair enough, it is a tiny kitchen BUT we would have expected to at least have the right level of pots/pans/dinner set. Some of it was also very badly chipped or damaged. It took the fun out of the cooking part for us, although we appreciate that many people prefer to eat out and the options are endless in Polignano. It's just a shame that this part let it down for us. The other point to make is the cleaning is really below par. The floors were pretty dirty, dust and balls of fluff everywhere, but we didn't mind cleaning ourselves. It's a small space so this should have been easy to do on their side. The waffle towels though were a nice touch and the shower is fab.
