301 Oyster Schelles Umhlanga Rocks

The Apartment is spacious in a beautiful complex. Well located and lovely complex staff.

We had been told to collect the keys initially some driving distance away (not walking) from the complex, I explained we would be in a TAXI. Arrangements were made in advance for us to collect keys at the complex on arrival, . We had to delay the TAXI whilst phone calls were made, and spare keys were located as nothing had been arranged. The kitchen utensils are limited and old. The washing machine had recently been replaced and jutted out blocking the access to the dish washer. dishwashing was done in the sink. The lounge suite is extremely uncomfortable, has no support and is like sitting on sponge, very challenging for senior citizens. The verandah chairs and tables are rusted and if you sit on it the rust comes off on your clothes. the apartment is classified as luxury which it is, but the amenities are not. TIME TO UPGRADE. If this was attended to it would be a perfect stay

Only the Location

The Apartment was smelling damp...cockroaches in tye Apartment.The furniture outside was dirty and rusty for a place like oysters schelles...the blinds in the kitchen could not close ..I usually stay at the oysters but this was my first time at Apartment 301 and little did I know it's managed by another rental company...Gosh it was a nightmare...we were not allowed guest as I wanted my sister to come and visit...Usually the other apartments allowed us on plenty occasions...so pls before booking check who manages the apartments..It was a terrible booking and stay with 301 oysters schelles

Patricia from Umhlanga Holiday Rentals was amazing. So helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. We needed to extend our stay and she was so helpful in managing this for us. Gladness provided a great cleaning service and is friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location 👌

I have absolutely no complaints except that our apartment that we booked for well in advance was given to someone else and there was a slight bother exchanging keys and we didn’t get the apartment we had hoped for, however the apartment we did get was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
