Bryn Goleu, Mersey Street, Borth-y-Gest

Het is een klein rijtjes huis in een stijl oplopende straat die eindigt bij de baai. Uitstekend ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien, al moet je soms wel even zoeken. Het huisje heeft twee etages en een schuurtje buiten, met een open dakje als verbinding met het huis. Daar staat de wasmachine en een extra toilet. Verder is alles mooi compleet en goed onderhouden. Het is een aanrader.

De overgang van de trappen is vreemd en lijkt niet veilig voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn en het bed was te klein en niet comfortabel.

Comfy, gorgeous outside space, great location and easy access to parking

The wonderful Welsh character of the house, slate, thick walls and so peaceful. Great to be able to step out of the back gate and go walking. Beach is a minute away on foot down the hill, walking into Porthmadog is 15 mins walk along the coastal path. Great easy parking in the chapel car park across the road. Spotlessly clean house and with everything thought of, utensils, etc. Enjoyed game nights around the table. Very useful books and leaflets about the area and further afield. Perfect location for Portmeirion, steam trains, castles, or just enjoying the peacefulness of sitting at the beach at any time of the day- no crowds, just the sound of birds and the sea. The landscape of the area is fantastic- sandy beaches, rock faces, woods/ nature reserve and the view of the mountains! Good communication with Lee before our visit.

A well thought out comfortable property Both double beds (mattresses) were the best we had slept on . The kitchen was well equipped, so cooking was easy . There is plenty of hot water . Very quiet, too. Plenty of parking in Ralph Street . Short walk to the beach and coastal path .

Beautiful cottage, exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. Communication from owner on day of arrival welcomed and reassuring. All requirements catered for down to fine details like torch if required in cupboard drawer, or tape measure. Real home from home feel.

Unable to access out house where ? down stairs loo and washing machine are. Maybe this was out of bounds and that was absolutely fine. Was just inquisitive.

It had a lovely old school cosey feel about it , great location and so quiet , brilliant .
