"Good location, not ideal for more than 4 people"

It was clean and a good location for our needs.

The heating was controlled by the owner. 1 minute it was cool , the next it was 35c. You were booked allowed to choose your own setting. The dials on the individual radiators either went Fully on or off. We were extremely uncomfortable and the heat made one of our party sick. No tongs or wooden spoons in the kitchen. Beds for 6 people - but only 4 seats in lounge area and 4 at dining table. There was 5 of us - so inadequate amount for us.

"The place was excellent; I would highly recommend."

The location was great. It provided us with a great base to see all of the attractions that we wanted to see in North Wales. The cottage itself was a real home from home; it was very clean and stocked with everything that we could possibly have needed. The beds were very comfortable and there was no noise in the location.

Everything was really good and there wasn't really anything that I could be critical of. The street / locality was busy for parking but we always found a spot that wasn't too far away.

No welcome pack. Steps to back garden not suitable for elderly or children. Couldn't open front windows up or down.

"Cutest house and so comfy - loved our stay!"

Location was great and such a cute house with great outdoor space.

No towels- maybe not a problem for most travellers but when u r bike touring not a lot of space in panniers for towels. Also felt chilly.

"Lovely, comfortable and modern accommodations in Borth-y-Gest"

This was the nicest place we stayed on our recent trip to Wales. It was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and very well equipped. The extra loo outside and washer/dryer would be handy for large groups. Everything worked flawlessly, it is a very short walk to the water, and a pleasant stroll to Porthmadog. Free parking nearby was easy to find at the time of year we visited. We would love to stay here again.

Nothing to improve, but one note for international travelers is that bathroom towels are not supplied. This is easily solved by a quick trip to Tesco!
