Historic Barn Loft - Private & Spacious

Well maintained property, it had everything we needed, and owners were polite and helpful

It was literally , next door to the owners, outdoor/indoor dinner table, so when we were leaving /arriving they would most of time be outside eating /talking on the table.. we had to walk past them to get to the front door if unit ..it felt abit awkward lol

We loved our stay at Historic Barn Loft. Both the sofa bed and main bed were very comfy. Bathroom was clean and shower had great pressure. The heat pump provided efficient heating to the main area. The loft itself was well presented, tidy and cosy. TV had Netflix and YouTube available which was handy. Nice and close to the motorway to head into Tauranga City and Mt Maunganui. Supermarket, pharmacy, takeaways and liquor shop all within a 10min walk. Hosts were really lovely, came into check on us and see that we had everything we needed. Also had a visit from their dog and cat...much to my toddlers delight!

We could have done with another smaller heater for the bedroom - we closed the bedroom door at night due to having a noisy toddler who would wake up in the night and in the early hours. This meant the heat from the heat pump (in the main area) couldn't access the bedroom at night. Another thing to think about would possibly be having a blind in the bathroom window (or extended the film on the window) for more privacy.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung war sehr schön, alles war sehr stilvoll dekoriert.

Lovely & warm - thought might be cold because it’s an older building. Hosts were amazing- giving us tips on places to visit & even letting us use their washer/dryer (many thanks!!). Private parking off the road was another bonus! Quiet - had a lovely night listening to the rain & the chooks in the morning.

No sneaking in this house - boards creak a bit.
