Historic Barn Loft - Private & Spacious

Everything! Everything was so cosy and comfy. The towels were heated. The bed was heavenly. The kitchen was well-equipped. When we asked for a cooking scale, it was brought over in minutes. Very lovely place to stay. If in the area again, we would definitely book again and we were very sad that we could only stay here for one night.

Private parking was easy to get in and out of the property. The beds were comfortable. Loved the wooden flooring and access to Netflix on tv. We also loved the privacy it offered. Towel warmer was great. My son (3yr) loved looking out at the chickens, dog and cat from the view of the yard. We will definitely look at staying here again when back in town - location was great. Appreciated the messages by host.

No complaints.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, quaint space, close to the city. Was perfect for a weekend stay for three of us. Good bed and good shower, small but functional kitchen space. Was neat seeing the history of the space and suburb.

A couple things to be addressed. The towel rack gets way too hot, my partner burned her arm on it just by accidentally touching it when getting out of the shower. She still has a bad mark after a few days. And the cleaner came early and was passive aggressively watching us pack up which was unpleasant (the cleaner should not arrive till at least 5 minutes after checkout time and not be rude)

Location close to amenities our host was awesome 👌 would highly recommend

The location is amazing, its really local to the Waikareao Estuary Walkway. Note - its a 10KM walk from the location total to do the complete walk; totally gorgeous!
