Rock Mill - Deluxe 1-Bedroom Apartments

the Rock Mill is a lovely clean and fresh place and It does have its appeal. The price was good for the 4 nights and overall we liked the stay. The Mill is a well placed base to do all activities from and the ease of the restuarant next door made a for a nice relaxing pint after a day out.

These points are very very minuscule, and in no way detracted from the visit. 1) I booked the larger of the deluxe flats with overall more square footage of space, However the double bed was a small double and Ideally a bigger bed like the apartment's next door would of been better. 2) For the size of the living/dinning room the TV (not that we used it that much) was a small 18-20 inch at best that just didn't suit the size of the room ( first word problems I know ha ha ) 3) Receiving a group message at 23:20 about a reminder for noise control after a flat had been reported for fire alarm / excessive noise and the rules against such things. I found it rather ironic that the message was sent at such a late hour and to everyone. Surely the alarm and complaint can be sent to the direct occupant and not cc everyone at a late hour. like I said these are such minor points and laughable to most I am sure. But the point of an honest review is just that. it helps us all paint a better picture for hotels etc.

Great Accommodation in heart of The Peak District. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Great Value too when compared to a well known chain with Purple branding.

Modern clean facilities,comfy bed and good shower area, easy to get to our conference at Cliff college

The wallcupboards in the kitchen were much to high for our age and height and to climb on the chair to reach the crockery ,should have been lower down. Also, we had to report a cracked cup and a piece of the flooring that had broken off so as to ensure we were not charged for the damage. Would have been nice to have had a king size bed too.

Bed was bit small

Clean, airy, comfortable apartment. Comfortable bed and good shower. Good base for the Peak District.

The sofa bed wasnt the most comfortable to sit on to watch TV.

Excellent position for visiting the Peaks and had everthing we could think of.

Little close to the main door and needed nets or some privacy stick on film for lower half widows as looks onto main road and entrance to cap park.

Location is perfect, has everything you need.

It’s good value for money, but not the cleanest, if the Hoover didn’t reach there was still dirt on the floor, shower also needed a proper wipe down.
