Palermo Centro - I Pastelli di Van Gogh

Very well furnished and very kind staff

We had 2 nights here, great location and the host Davide was extremely friendly. He saved a perfect parking spot for us (parking is hell to find in Palermo). Flat was clean and walking distance to centre, port, nice restaurants and cafes nearby. There was free espresso in the room, and a little kitchen to make tea or breakfast. A very nice stay!

It is a very nice, well-equipped, stylish little apartment. We highly appreciate the spaciousness of the living room, the comfortable bed and the larger shower by local standards. The host was incredibly friendly, we were in constant contact via whatsapp and he always gave us immediate advice on everything. The accommodation is a short distance from the center and the port, it is easy to park near it. Shops with basic necessities start in the next street. We can really only recommend this accommodation.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a typical local street. You can't see anywhere from it and it only has small windows to the yard. But here at booking, no one promised us any view, so it's actually completely fine. Teenagers play on the street mainly in the late evening hours, so it's not completely quiet there. It doesn't matter, it's just a good thing to expect. The streets are typical of Sicily, don't expect grass and clean sidewalks, or perhaps a beach resort... you'll simply experience Palermo as it is up close. That's not a complaint, on the contrary, that's why people come here.😉

We had a brilliant time! Davide was extremely helpful and welcoming. We arrived really late as our flight was delayed and he was really accommodating. The facilities were excellent, would definitely stay again!

This accommodation and its hosts were beyond exceptional. From even before we had arrived, they kept in contact and were helping us manage our arrival and stay. The accommodation was clean, safe, and well equipped. I stayed there with my 2 daughters, and there was plenty of room for us all to be comfortable. It is just a short walk to the centre of Palermo and also very close to the port, a Conad supermarket, pizzeria, and other useful shops. We were only in Palermo for 2 nights and then went to Catania for a further 3 nights. My only regret is that we didn't spend the entire 5 nights in Palermo at Pastelli di Van Gogh.

Davide was a fantastic host! The apartment was perfect for a city stay and well located in a very vibrant and fun city. Would definitely visit again! Thank you!
