Spacious 3BR Sarasota Family Home 12 Min to Siesta Key Beach

I love the layout and all the amenities provided. They provide great cooking options and cooking accessories. It is central to all the great places in Sarasota. My family and I will definitely return again.

There wasn’t anything that I did not like. I liked everything. We enjoyed our stay.

My family and I really enjoyed this property. The house had everything we needed to accommodate us. Our host Ethan was an excellent communicator, and he made sure I was comfortable with the booking process.

Ethan, the host was very nice and kept communication open, both prior to stay and during stay when we asked how to get the TV to get live tv shows. (While we never were able to get live tv programming, (only live news), we appreciated him getting back to us with instructions-it might have been our lack of ability, but we failed on finding other than news live tv shows). It’s a very comfortable house, nice decor and very clean. Enjoyed the screened in porch and also the lovely patio and the use of corn hole when our grandchildren visited us for the weekend! Many items were available such as paper products, toiletries, small kitchen appliances and many other staples. There was a nice supply of bathroom towels, washcloths and hand towels. The washer and dryer were in good working order. I also appreciated that the rooms had good bright lighting.

While this house was updated and attractive from the street, most houses around it were very run down looking and made us feel like it might be a questionable neighborhood. There were a few major, glaring issues that we just dealt with rather than contacting our host, however, some guests might not have had the same reaction: 1. The (king bed) bathroom shower slowed down after a couple of minutes and backed up having me stand in the backup to shower, which was not pleasant. We bought Drano and used it twice and also cleaned up a netting of hair on the drain cover that should have been cleaned up before we arrived. (Shower fine after that) 2. Also, in that same bathroom, there was black mold on the underneath side of both faucets where the water comes out. We would not have noticed it, but for our granddaughter touching the faucet to wet her toothbrush (as young children do!) We also took care of the mold on our own. 3. In the bedroom with the bunkbeds, there were no sheets on the beds and none to be found in the house. Since our 3 young grandchildren live only several minutes away, we went back to their house to get bedding, including their pillows because, while there was a surplus of extra pillows, there were no extra pillow cases except for the other 2 bedrooms to use for their beds. 4. I did find it unusual that there were no blankets for any of the beds except the “bedspreads”, which were very attractive, but we would have liked a blanket and a top sheet as well, which also were not available. 5. In the kitchen, the dishwasher did not work for us. We set it, and it looked like it was going to start, but, then the lights on the setting shut off. 6. We did not find any dish towels (as extremely well equipped as the kitchen was and it was!) Dishtowels in the kitchen would have been helpful, especially since we washed our dishes by hand.

It was close to the airport and to many attractions. It was a very peaceful area and was very clean. Peter was a wonderful host and would definitely recommend this place for others to stay at. I would definitely stay at this place again.

I would recommend fixing or replacing the gas bbq pit.

Great to have your own space for a couple of nights. Whole place was well equipped. Comfortable beds and a decent shower

The shower to the back bedroom could have been cleaner, cleaned the plug hole of hair from previous occupants before showering

This location is perfect. The outside living area is really nice for coffee.
