Villa Holmen 2 - Ground floor apartment

Great location.

Somehow I didn't see the owner's email about changing the lock box location and code. This caused a lot of problems but was eventually resolved. Also, he never saw my email asking if the apartment had a a dryer in addition to the washing machine (it doesn't). We had to pay to do laundry in town. Thirdly, no place to hang up towels.

Location,size of appartement and facilities. Easy to check in and out. Clean

Comfortable, cozy apartment in the heart of Balestrand within 2mins walking distance to Sognefjord! The apartment is fully equipped with everything - kitchen, towels, clean bed linens, a lively living room with dining table, big bathroom and a beautiful front yard! The owner was incredibly kind, responsive and even offered a personal blow dryer on request. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Comforting place close to the action in magical Balestrand, enjoyed our stay, would come again.

Plenty of space to spread out and the location is very close to the ferry landing and walking around Balestrand as we didn't have a car. You have a nice table and chairs for 4 and a very complete kitchen with dish towels, dish soap and sponges. Hot water and coffee maker and plenty of dishes, mugs, glassware and cutlery. Paper towels are provided too and toilet paper for the bathroom and towels plus hand soap for the bathroom. There are two twin beds put together and a bunk bed arrangement in the large bedroom. The sofa in the living room could also provide additional sleeping arrangements. I appreciated the secure WiFi too. We would definitely stay here again.

There are no bathroom amenities such as shampoo and body wash so you need to bring your own. Also, you need to make up the comforter and pillow as they provide the sheets.

The apartment was in a good location, it had good amenities (washer, dryer, equipped kitchen, dish washer). It is a large apartment with a big living room.

The apartment had a bad smell of plastic that even leaving the windows didn't get rid of. The floors and walls are covered in plastic panels, which gives off a smell and an unpleasant feeling. The bathroom is badly decorated. We had to make our own sheets.
