Family that ran the Riad were great. They were really helpful and friendly, made amazing breakfasts. The roof and pool were beautiful.

Great place, very well situated just out of the hectic centre, but 10 minutes walk to square. Friendly host.

I had a terrific stay at this riad. I stayed a total of 4 nights. An exceptional quality is the responsiveness of the staff, particularly Bader over WhatsApp. When I needed to change my reservation, I was able to do so quickly, which was greatly appreciated. The location is a bit difficult to find at first, but easy to get used to. Only a 15 minute walk away from Jamaa el-Fnaa, so it's close to everything. Also, this riad is very quiet. It is ideal for solo travelers and couples. I will stay here again when I return to Marrakech.

On the reviews, people raved about the breakfast. In reality, it is bread (3 types) spreads (3 types) and drinks (3 types). It was nice. Bader, the primary contact, was extremely responsive on What's App. He also alerted us of the required printed boarding pass for our return flight (and printed out our boarding passes for us), booked our taxi for us with an included $3 fee, and notified us on our last night of the $15 lodging taxes due in cash at check out. The cooks and cleaning staff were all smiles, very friendly young ladies that are hard-working.

The location is very difficult to find - you can not find it on your own, you must rely on someone to walk you there. Your taxi can not drive you to the front door, the roads are too narrow, so you walk with your luggage for about 5 minutes through a maze of alleys. If you have trouble with directions, this is not the place for you. Unlike what previous reviews said (great location), it is about a 25 minute walk to the main square. The shower had very little water pressure and ran out of hot water. The pool pictured is very small and no one uses it for swimming, it's just for looks. Which is fine, but don't bother packing swim clothes. The bed was comfortable enough with flat pillows.

The location of Riad Salima is good, walking distance to the main square and all attractions but far enough from immediate noise of Medina. It is traditionally designed and has lots of beautiful features. Roof top is a lovely place where you can chill on sun beds away from the hustle of the city. Bader was helpful with suggestions for restaurants and tours available in Marrakesh.

All good impressions were spoiled though when my son has discovered that some money have been stolen from his room. Hotel has denied that anyone has been to our rooms while we were discovering the city but window in my room on a top floor was open few times on my return while i clearly remembered closing everything before i left. Also we were staying there for a week and to have at least some variation in breakfast menu would be nice.

Very pretty little Riad. Comfy and clean. Staff were very helpful and went beyond what was expected! Good location close to the Medina but not too close. We were a group of 3 females and felt safe. If I was going back to Marrakech I would stay there again.

I would have liked more toilet rolls and bin bags to avoid asking for the room to be cleaned. But you can ask - I just don't like to keep pestering them.
