After a bad experience in Paris, this was our plan B. It worked out well. Close to Metro.

"Good hotel for a real parisean vacation"

8.0

Hotel is located near MontMarte. Many great restaurants at reasonable prices. Also many brasseries(bars) in the area. The Metro is only 3 blocks from hotel. It is only 5-10 minutes from Paris center. Excellent choice for the person looking to experience the real paris and not just the tourist spots.

"Small but functional"

6.0

Hotel is in a rundown area but is only 5 mins walk away from a Metro station, so Paris centre is easily accessible. Rooms very small but functional and dinner menu, when available, is very limited. However hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful, especially Estelle on reception.

"Better than we expected"

8.0

The aircondition was not working. They brougt an electrical heating unit to the room. There were no minibar in the room. The beds were very confortable and soft. The bath was enough confortable. Room cleaning service is good. The breakfast was better than we expected. It was like a 4 star hotel breakfast. The hotel team was very nice and helpful and respectful. It is close to subway station and Charles De Gaule airport.

"Nice Hotel - Nasty Area!!!"

6.0

Paris is an awesome place but save up for a long time because it is so very very very EXPENSIVE!!!!!! Forget to be British and learn to queue jump and to push in! We were too polite and got pushed back time and time again!! If you hotel is situated in the suburbs, buy your drinks etc for the day there - they are a quarter of the price than in central Paris! Don't get offended by the very very rude Parisian people!!!

"Nice Hotel, Shame about the Location!"

8.0

Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, though the resturant is closed on a Saturday and Sunday. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance (5 - 10 minutes) to two Metro stations for access to central Paris, about a 15 minute journey to the Champs Elysee. There are plenty of amenities in the surrounding township (cafes, restaurants, patisseries, etc), though the area is quite run down. I tried to avoid having an obvious handbag if I could help it, especially at night times.

"Service was GREAT, rooms clean, small. A BUDGET hotel."

8.0

Service: front desk: Lots of bad reviews on this hotel! Management must have read these reviews, because the service level i experienced was EXCELLENT. They were attentive, helped with special requests (like directions and other hotels) had change, did everything possible to make the stay smooth... and we used them ALOT. top notch service specifically given by the two women. There appears to be an effort to give better service here. Cleaning: prompt but noisy and unaware of guests need for quiet. cleaned room even though i had the do not enter sign up after we left (no safe). Room: smaller than average, overall clean. larger than average, comfortable queen-like double bed. no room for 2 people to maneuver; good room for one person. no / tiny room for large suitcases. no safe. had to pay for internet (11 euros, front dest 24 hours. internet was fair; had to sign in frequently and the codes were long). lobby internet available, but a total ripoff. hotel has public int'l phone. bathrooms small but have bathtub; shower was good/hot. restaurant: dont bother. dont even consider it. logistics: about a 2 block walk to the 13 tram will get you to the western flank of paris. to get to center, youll need to transfer. area: roughish, but safe. spray paint, immigrant type area but never felt any safety issues. overall: a good choice if you are on a SERIOUS budget. dont pay too much; but the rooms are adequate and you can still see paris from here.

"The Bathtub with half a glass."

8.0

It's the first time in my life that I see a bathtub with half a glass, instead of a shower curtain. I could not avoid the water splashing out onto the bathroom floor. One more thing: some TV channels they promised to have available, weren't available( TVE among them).
