Upon arrival, I found that the supposedly fresh towel in my room was wet. The room was also missing some promised amenities, such as an iron and a hairdryer. Additionally, the roasted potatoes I ordered were burnt and had a bitter taste. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, and the door didn’t close properly, which allowed the foul smell to linger in the room throughout my stay. To make matters worse, I found fly eggs on my food, which was supposedly freshly cooked or just out of the pan

The staff were very friendly. The decor was quirky and clever really reflecting the island vibe. The location is fabulous with the water right there and easy walking into the market and Port Mathurin. The food was good and fresh.

Security was a bit worrying with ground floor rooms and easy access along the waterfront. One evening we had someone banging on the room doors. Probably just a random drunk and no harm done.

The veg breakfast was a disaster. Just a passion fruit, a banana (was not ripe on 2 occasions), a yogurt and tea. No cereals, no pastries. For non veg an omelette, tea. No cereals, no pastries.

The toilet flush depends on sea water. If low tide no water available for toilet. As stated above, the breakfast was not value for money

Good location in town, quiet and relaxing. Food was really nice and well prepared. Room and bed comfortable.

A bit costly. Nice view of the ocean, but not a location for swimming. No free water bottle in the room.

Location was perfect. Close to everything nearby in Port Mathurin. Amazing views of the sea from my room and from the restaurant.

More variety of food/menu for breakfast.
