Tripped over an old root outside tent. Tent needed resecuring after windy weather

Great facilities and fantastic food at the pub. That Breakfast was included was a lovely surprise.

I’d forgotten how noisy tents are! Usually stay in my teardrop caravan with much better insulation. No fault of the site, which is fabulous.

The tent is very well secured and it was a lot of fun, weathering out a stormy, blustery night in it with no discomfort whatsoever. It is very well furnished with a VERY comfortable bed, a cooler, tea making facilities (kettle, tea bags, milk, sugar packets, ..), a few layered rugs, a TV and a few rustic decorations. The toilet/shower facilities shared with a tiny campground were always clean and very well kept. The adjacent pub/restaurant offers great food and pleasant music with some wonderful ciders to choose from. The owner (and all the staff) were friendly and always took a moment to chat when time allowed.

Cosy tent with everything we needed for our stay, warm and comfy Heater, extra pillows and blankets, cool box and a hamper full of tea, coffee and biscuits, juice and water etc TV, kettle, hairdryer etc Shower and toilets very clean Staff so friendly and welcoming from the start of our visit to the end Very dog friendly Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice, our 2 dogs were even given chopped up sausage which they loved Little touches like cake brought to the tent just made it more special Will definitely return!

Really lovely place, tent was comfortable and very clean, as were the showers & toilets. Breakfast was delicious and staff were always friendly. I really loved how good they are with dogs. My boy appreciated all of the attention he got as well as a sausage at breakfast time 😊

Seating area was uncomfortable (wooden picnic bench) so not the table and chairs shown in the photos. Nothing to do within walking distance so have to drive everywhere - This is only a minor negative though and about the location not the actual property itself.

The breakfast was spot on , great choice

What let the stay down was attention to detail, the lampshade was mouldy, the third bed for my daughter was lumpy and not very comfy. The toilet/shower facilities had no ventilation, you couldnt open the window when having a shower, this was reflected by the mouldy sealant. It was a real shame because the set up is lovely 😍

Better coffee, chair and hanging space in the tent would be a bonus

Very spacious and clean bell tent. Lots of lovely touches like tea and coffee, milk, hair dryer, juice and biscuits. Really good price as it also includes bed and breakfast. The pub has been done up since we last came 3 years ago, is lovely and modern! The staff are also all really friendly and accommodating!
