3 bedroom family home Close to the Base

Hidden gem, we are a family of 6 and it's almost impossible to find accommodation that's well priced, in a great location and child friendly. The water pressure was great, beds were comfy, air conditioning and fans in each room helped as we didn't realize Hamilton was hot and humid this time of the year (locals said it was actually cooler) The base mall was literally a stone throw away, with supermarket and Kmart close by too. If available when we return to Hamilton we will definitely stay there again.

Trampoline was a selling point, pity it was in need of repairs

Location was great. Nice and quiet.

Microwave didn't work, there were no bowls to make a salad in, not enough chairs on the deck for everyone to sit together.

Did what it needed to do, it was clean, had an issue with internet but eventually sorted. Would of liked to of had more outdoor chairs.

One of the toilet seats was loose. So bit dangerous for our mokos. Grandkids.

There was no breakfast provided, just tea and coffee but no milk. The place was comfortable and had space for the kids to run around. The neighborhood was quiet.

We were given 2 different numbers for the lock box to get the key. We initially used the one sent just the day before but it didn't work. We had to go back to the number given at the time of booking. The house needs some maintenance outside. The pictures on the internet showed a table for 6 on a lovely verandah - when we got there there was a table to 2 only and the verandah had not been cleaned and some of the woodwork is hanging loose. We also had to unblock the handbasin in the main bathroom as it drained verrrryyyyy slowly. The trampoline is missing some springs - but still usable for light kids. The gardens are neglected.

Location is great. Quiet area and close to great shopping. Good size house, light and airy. Plenty of extra blankets, heaters if needed,coat hangers etc. Handy to have 2 toilets especially with having children staying too.

Wasn't as clean as it should be (dusty skirting boards, hair on sheets). Only one tea towel and it didn't look or smell fresh. Dishes from previous stayer still in dishwasher. Most glasses (wine glasses too) in cupboard were not 'crystal clear' clean. Toilet in main bathroom needs repair, loose seat.

House was comfy, beds were comfy. House was spacious for us 5 adults and 2 kids. House has a basketball hop, which was a bonus for us as the boys love to play ball.

Loose floor and dinning chair legs. Bbq was rusted, alot a opportunity to spice the place up. Other than that the house was good for us 😊
