Gran Canaria - Casa Carmen (Vecindario)

Location was good. Centre of Vecindario, easy to get buses. The property was clean and getting the keys was easy. The kitchen had kitchen rolls and tea towels which was nice. The TV was good and the WiFi generally worked ok. No real complaints.

The kitchen equipment was a bit basic. Only two eating type knifes and the cutting knives were not too good. The main problem really was the smoke detector in the kitchen would go off easily with toast or frying something. I suggest this is swapped for a heat detector, but I don't know what the laws are in gran canaria over this.

Clean, nice room solution.

Could have been more kitchen gear, especially as knives.

- it was clean - great location - it had a washing machine - welcome basket was a nice touch - good communication with the owner

- it was quite noisy - we could hear almost everything from the other 3 apartments in the building - bed was too small

Very clean, we loved the chocolate, tea and coffee basket as a welcome gift. The place is in the centre of town of Vecindario which is close to the nearby mountains and the capital Las Palmas. The parking is easy there is a huge free car park 5mins away. We loved the laundry facility.

We stayed in the first floor apartment which was well organized, clean and well equipped. The street is quiet, there are bars and shops closeby. Maspalomas is reachablr by bus within 30 minutes.

Very nice house well enquipped with all you need for a good vacation. The place is quiet and very clean. Cozy house with a nice veranda for resting at the end of the day. The location is near the airport and the middle of the island. You can easily get to the south or north of the island. If you are with a car you can park on the street front of the house or on the next street. In the evening there is a free parking lot . The keys for a house are in the locker on the front door. The host made a welcome set of snacks, coffee and tea. Thanks for a nice place!
