‘The Den’ Self contained one bedroom annexe.

Lovely “hut” at the end of the owners garden with private parking and access. An idyllic garden with babbling brook and an entourage of ducks! Private, peaceful and comfortable. Well equipped with almost everything you need and thoughtfully including milk in the fridge, tea/coffee/biscuits and condiments.

Very limited cooking (nice local pub nearby) and washing up facilities and no proper ironing board.

A lovely peaceful place to stay, in lovely surroundings. Comfortable with all the facilities required and a bottle of milk in the fridge! The bedding amd furnishings were quality. My hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Not much to not like so these comments are really my personal preferences. The bed was a bit firm for me and, space in the bathroom is limited.

An amazing little unit, so beautifully and tastefully furnished with all the amenities you need. It’s at the far end of the owners garden with a stream separating it from their home. Very peaceful and relaxing.

The bed was abit uncomfortable and probably could do with a new mattress but other than that it was perfect.

The Den was so cosy. Woodburner was lovely. Bed was comfy. Lots of nice little touches. Was lovely sitting outside listening to the birds and seeing the ducks on the brook. Felt very relaxing. Nice pub within a few minutes walk.

What a wonderful place to stay in such an idyllic and peaceful location. Everything you need is available, of great quality, and Sue is a very nice engaging host, who is there to show where, and how it all works. The annexe is delightful, private, peaceful with everything at hand. Great wifi, quiet, with a small veranda to sit on, and listen to the stream running past and the birds singing. Near to many attractions, yet far enough away to be secluded in tranquil countryside. This is a beautiful part of the country, with great views, and small villages to see, and of course, nice country pubs, To base yourself here, you would not be disappointed. Had a wonderful nights stay and would galdy do so again.

The location was exactly what we wanted - peaceful with access to good walking and cycling routes. The place itself is bijou and cozy, with a comfortable bed. There was a lovely brook running between the hosts' home and the holiday space, visible from the sitting area.

There are cooking facilities, but we overestimated how much we could cook in the space and with the appliances available. Any self-catering is best done with simple microwaveable dishes, kettle and a single hotplate. Dishes need to be washed in the bathroom. That said, there is a pub within a minute's walk of the property.
