Crimson Resort and Spa - Mactan Island, Cebu

It’s secluded and spacious. However has the services to transport you to wherever you need to go. Quick and efficient service. Great restaurants. Very comfortable beds. Relaxing. Good for families. My husband and I have very busy and intense careers, so taking a break here and spending quality family time is exactly what we needed. This was our second stay at Crimson in one year, just as good as it was the last time. First time we stayed for 5 nights and the second time we stayed for 8 nights. I do encourage the longer stay as it allows you the time to stop and slow down. Staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Troy from concierge was extra helpful with our private car pick ups and drop offs, as he remembered from our first stay. When we visit Cebu/Mactan, my husband and I are making it the norm to stay with Crimson for every visit. Crimson can count on our business when we visit at least once or twice a year.

Nothing to dislike.

The staff were helpful and the beach access room was clean, but the floor was slightly damp due to the humidity.

The location is acceptable if you have a car, but it’s not very convenient or safe to walk around, especially with a stroller, as the road outside the hotel is quite busy. There is also very little to see or do outside the resort. Considering the price, we felt the service and facilities did not meet expectations. We stayed during Christmas and all in house guests were required to purchase the Gala Dinner Buffet, which felt quite restrictive especially for people like us who doesn't eat much and have specific dietary requirements. We felt it was a waste of money, as we had very limited food options due to our dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the event was very loud and continued past 10pm. The hotel also set up multiple tents right in front of our beach access room for the Gala Dinner, which blocked our view and affected the overall experience. It was disappointing, especially since we chose this room specifically for the beach access.

Large rooms, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and high quality food. Despite the reef is not there anymore you can still have a nice snorkelling from the resort’s beach

Problems with excursions- had to discuss because was charged more than agreed, there were 3 different price lists for the same excursion. Lack of communication between the resort and the tour guides. You would expect more from a 5 star location

Отель достаточно зеленый, приятный и чистый пляж. Атмосферное кафе на пляже с вкусной едой. Отзывчивый персонал отеля! За это хочется поставить отдельный плюс. Всегда были на связи, оперативно организовали трансфер, подготовили завтрак при раннем отъезде из отеля, сделали все, чтобы отдых действительно был отдыхом!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Wir wurden während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend betreut.
