Stepping Stones Cottage - Lelant, Nr St Ives

The property was exactly how it looked in the pictures. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location. My mom was with us and she is disabled. There were no steps, just a slope down to the chalet, which she found a lot easier. The shower is a walk in double shower so that was also super easy for her too. It was literally a minute’s walk to the clubhouse, swimming pool and shop. We paid the extra to use the clubhouse and pool and it was well worth it. (To book the pool you have to download an app but it was super easy- as it quite often the case on these types of sites, wifi is patchy so download the app before you go!) The bus stop is also just a minute’s walk so easy to use. We were just over 5 mins to get into Hayle and about 10 mins to park up in St Ives. It was also a good base for the other trips we planned: about a 35 mins drive to the Cornish seal sanctuary and Perranporth.

It was exactly as expected so there wasn’t anything we didn’t like!

Quaint little lodge with everything you need. Clean and well laid out, good value for money in a great location.

Nothing to dislike

Great location in beautiful woodland, with excellent access to St Ives, Lands End, Penzance by bus, which stops in the park. There is a handy shop and even a bar and club with entertainment.

It was difficult to get your towels dry, that’s all!

Great location with all beaches 10 minute drive away. Very cozy and roomy.

A little cold in the mornings, heating not powerful enough for the size of the living room.

Very good value, clean and well appointed

We had dog so would have liked an enclosed garden to let him out, but appreciate that you couldn’t do it because of the layout of the park.
