Heather Glen. Six bedroom home near the sea.

From start to finish, we could not have picked a more suitable holiday home for my son's 21st Birthday break. Mitchell the owner was easy to contact and was happy to help in any way he could. We had arranged for shopping to be delivered but when arrived there was already a lot of basics, milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter, snacks and cleaning materials. The house was exactly how it was described. It was easily accessible by public transport and we did not need to use our cars whilst there. We used almost every bedroom with the exception of the single room. All of the bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. We visit Blackpool on a regular basis will have no hesitation to re-book instead of the usual B&B's which are usually situated in the noisier areas of Blackpool, which means noise late at night. Heather Glen was perfect it was a short tram journey from the town centre or a leisurely walk so we had lovely peaceful nights. Having the large kitchen and especially the eye level grill to prepare full English Breakfasts for 10 of us together with the dining room and lounge area was perfect for our 4 households to get together to relax and spend time with each other. There was games and toys in the living room for children which kept the big children busy too !!!!! The information and instructions on entering the property were timely and straight forward, we felt safe and very secure at all times.

Spacious entrance. En-suites to the main bedrooms. Large dining table & enough chairs for everyone. Comfortable & relaxing living room. Fobs for ease of entry.

Some of the bedroom tvs didn’t work. There wasn’t any blinds to the top bathroom windows. The top floor bedroom en-suite shower was scolding & was only that one temperature so couldn’t be used & the shower on the middle floor bathroom was freezing & temperature couldn’t be changed on that either. All the other showers were great.

Location is great. Short walk to town. Very close by is a convenience store, pub, cafe, Chinese, Indian, pizza, cashpoint. The house was clean with a small amount of provisions and condiments there on arrival which we thought was a nice touch. All of the toilets were provided with adequate toilet roll for our stay of 4 nights, another nice touch. Every year we stay in Blackpool and every year we need a last minute dash to a shop for these items so this was a plus. Great communication from the owner. Two issues arose, one before we arrived and one during. Both were dealt with promptly with good response and communication and rectified as soon as they could have been. We were so impressed we have rebooked for next year which is the first time since we started going yearly in 2019.

Parking was an issue. Top shower didn’t work

The house is amazing for a couple of families. Every room is high spec. It couldn't have been in a better place. On a lovely, quiet rd, only a 10 minute walk to the North Pier, and the beach around the corner. The house had everything we could possibly need. Mitchell even made sure we had many extras like tea, coffee, bread, butter, milk, and nibbles. Not forgetting the Prosecco. I cannot praise the house and the host enough.

There's nothing to dislike.

The house was lovely and everyone felt very comfortable within all rooms. It was clean on arrival. Will be booking again next year.

Heather Glen was clean comfortable and we was all happy, Mitchell was very helpful too, and would highly recommend, also the cafe at the end of Gynn Avenue would recommend too.

Very spacious and homley. Perfect distance from the Centre and a very short walk to bus and tram stops. The house was clean and exactly as described. The owner was only a text away and happy to help with any questions in a timely manner.

You could be picky and find something to write but everything was at a very good standard.
