Mews House, Tewkesbury town centre, hot tub, pets

Lovely host, location in the hub of the town but feeling secluded with a private court yard with outside seating. We did not use the hot tub but one was set up and available if wanted. The cottage was homely and comfortable and clean. The double bed was comfortable and the main bedroom had a toilet wet room. There was also a separate bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The lounge was nicely decorated and comfortable. There was a separate kitchen with 6 seater dining table. A coffee pod machine airfryer kettle and microwave and cooker. Leading of the kitchen was the private outside seating area and hot tub. This area tucked away at the back of the property was relatively quiet. The cottage is down a doored side alley tucked away behind the owners town house which is on the main road. This meant it was cushioned from the noise of the busy town centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Not a lot although some very small details were a bit tired. Little things like the hair dryer didn't work but we had our own travel one. We couldn't get the oven to ignite its gas so used the air fryer instead. Could do with a new frying pan. The garden furniture main cushions were a little grubby but then there are lots of trees with birds in them but was still comfy with nice throws and extra cushions on it. None of these things impacted our stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Loved the location and how cute the mews was. Lovely and private once inside. Host lives next door and was very friendly. The rear garden is an added bonus.

It was a bit tired in general. Needs a good paint and some maintenance in bathrooms etc . Although very clean , it was sad that the hot tub top and surround was dirty and also garden furniture. We had to clean everything before using it. A shame because everything else was perfect. Maybe just an outside wipe down before guests arrive. Would not stop me booking again though!

Bunk beds for adults is a bit of a stretch and some of the soft furnishings needs updating

It was tucked out the way and such a lovely big property with the hot tub being a huge hit with the girls

Parking

Location, garden, all the facilities in the house. Have been here before The owners are near by and wonderful, and are amazinly accomodating Gin left for your use is always a lovely welcome! We will return again.

Bunk beds in 2nd bedroom are not a great option for adults. I know there is a sofa bed in living room but that means you lose the use of the livingroom.

We had a great stay at Mews Cottage with our two dogs. Great location, in the centre of Tewkesbury but tucked away from any noise. Parking just a 2 min stroll away.
