The location was perfect, and there was plenty of parking. My reservation was secured as expected. The beds were very comfortable.
There was no personality at the front desk, no one willing to engage in our relationship. I grew up in Montrose and have three siblings and so many nieces and nephews. We were in town for funeral services for my sister who died unexpectedly earlier in June. Family graciously offered beds for us, but I decided to spend more one-on-one time with my son who drove me to Montrose. Although we reserved and paid for two nights, we checked out around 4:00pm a day early and drove home to help with other priorities. Again, their was no personality at the front desk. With just a little effort, the front desk attendants could provide 'aggressive hospitality', leaving a positive impression on us and making their own jobs so much more enjoyable. Although this property could use some updating, It would have been nice to see the sink and tub shine of cleanliness.
