AEWe really enjoyed our stay at The Rose. The staff were all very helpful. The location of the property was excellent. We felt very safe during our stay. Every morning, we would go for a run and found it very easy to get to Green Point and Sea Point by running from the hotel. The property was right next to Bo Kaap, an iconic part of Cape Town. The colourful houses were very cool, had a great view from our room! We would often walk about in the area to go get food. There are so many lovely restaurants in the area. Alternatively, you are only a few minutes walk from the Cape Quarter shopping mall. Loads of lovely places to eat at or shop in. We had a car with us, we parked in the basement of the building the hotel was attached to. We found it easy to navigate our way onto major roads that would let us explore the rest of the Cape!
We had to pay for parking overnight, however this wasn’t that big of a deal as it was very reasonable! The cost was 130 ZAR, which equates to £5.
