Absolutely unacceptable stay – serious health concerns and terrible customer service.

I recently stayed at CasaViva – Central Trilo with parking in Santa M. and my experience was shockingly bad. The apartment was unfit for guests. As soon as we arrived, we noticed extensive mould throughout the unit. This was not minor humidity—this was visible mould that made the place feel unsafe to breathe in. We reported the issue right after check-in, but were told that around 8pm was “too late” for them to do anything, even though our check-in had been at 18:30. I found this response careless and dismissive considering the potential health risks. We had no choice but to leave the next morning. What made matters worse was that we had to wait until 4pm for another place to be prepared, losing almost an entire day of our trip. When we finally received the replacement accommodation (we were given just 1 option), it also had mould, and it was nothing like the original listing. It was far away from the center and up a hill, completely changing the nature of the stay we had booked. Despite everything, the company refused to refund the first night and only offered 30 euros, supposedly to cover gas for the transfer—an amount that felt almost insulting given the situation. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with both the condition of the properties and the customer service. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with this company.
