HAKUNA MATATA - Budget Stay at Arambol Beach, Goa

Excellent location. service is too good.And food is delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and had a nice sea view. Would definitely recommend this place.

The room itself wasn't too bad, AC worked fine and the shower was good enough, beach bar is alright.

They actively encouraged us to cancel the booking on this platform when we arrived and offered us a 'discount' This is the reason why there are no recent reviews. We booked the queen sea view room, then were placed in a room with no view. The wifi doesn't work unless you are on the stairs. This hotel is legitimately falling apart. There was a giant hole in the floor on the third floor that if you fell through, it wouldn't be pretty. The power switch in the room was pushed in so it wasn't able to be used unless you wanted to risk death. The staircase is broken and held up by scaffolding, the balconies are propped up by propping poles. I understand this is India and some places may be lack lustre, however for $28 AUD per night we were able to get some amazing properties further south in candolim and calangute all of which provided safe amenities, working wifi and even a swimming pool by the beach. I know people come to Arambol for a unique experience, but electrocution or a fall from a third floor may not be the enlightenment some people come here to achieve. You also have to walk along the beach to get here as there is no vehicle access. We booked for two nights and tried to get a refund after the first night as we really wanted to give it a chance and they declined., if the WiFi worked in the room it may have been enough for us to turn a blind eye, unfortunately there were too many problems for us to grin and bear this hotel.

service charges are too high. like one pkt of gold flake is 170 Rs. but provided in 300 Rs. and many more like this they have charged.

Perfect beachfront location with stunning views. Clean rooms and friendly staff made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
