Lovely 3 bedroom house with free parking & garden

Good location for where we wanted to be. Clean and fresh. Ideal for family or group. Mini supermarket across the road. Parking available. Main road into the city. Highly recommend!!! Will look to stay here again when visiting next time.

Beds were a bit soft for our personal preference, but no real concern. Would have liked more bathroom hooks. But again, no real issue.

Only one toilet

The house was cute: minimalistic but nice furnished so that it gave a comfortable atmosphere. From reading past reviews Lisa (landlord) respected all the feedback (new carpets upstairs, some additional kitchen utensils, another mirror, etc.) She was very responsive and nice when I contacted her about some small issues. The house is next to a main road but it was still quiet. We came as a family of 6+dog for 5 nights to attend a conference and it was perfect for us; great value for money but I wouldn’t stay here for a longer vacation. We had a 9-seat Ford van that just fit unto the included parking spot in front of the house.

- as Lisa admitted herself she hadn’t been there in quite some time apparently and wasn’t aware that there were only e.g. small pots (you can’t cook for 6+ people in them), there was cutlery missing, kitchen window couldn’t be opened and no fan so you can’t really ventilate. She should have a thorough checklist for her housekeeper to keep things complete and intact. - some garden chairs/furniture would’ve been nice to be able to sit outside in nice weather - only 1 set of bed linens and towels, so if something would get dirty or simply want to use another towel (in 5 nights!) we wouldn’t have any extra. We had some of our own so that was ok for us. - we deep cleaned the dishwasher so it worked properly again - a laundry iron would be great - some information/instruction on if/how to separate waste, if the tab water is consumable, etc. and maybe some tourist info would be great. Just to consider also non-UK guests. - the curtains don’t keep out the light, so if you are sensitive to that, bring eye covers

The place is very pitoresque. Wifi, fully ecquiped kitchen, hot water, radiators, everything was great.

If you don' t like small rooms, the bedrooms are quite small, but that was not a problem for us.

The beds and house were lovely and clean and the location was perfect xxx

No ironing board and could have done with more mirrors and a downstairs toilet xxx

Very warm clean and comfortable. Bus service great- 3 buses an hour bus stop outside door. The house is situated back from a busy road, but we could not hear it indoors. Host answered queries promptly . Lovely hot shower. Parking good and secure garden for a dog.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get the dishwasher to go.
