Schönes, gemütliches Zimmer. Preis für Alleinreisende gut. Sofa dank zusätzlicher Matratze bequem. Aber bei zwei Besuchern, nur für kleine, schmale Leute. Bad ist auch schön und zweckmäßig. Netter Empfang mit Süßigkeiten im Zimmer. Habe bei Fragen immer sofort eine Antwort über booking erhalten. Sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Lage gleich am Meer. Portobello Beach in 5 Min. mit dem Bus erreichbar. Bushaltestelle gleich in der Nähe. Preis-/Leistung sehr gut.

Bad ist außerhalb des Zimmers gleich neben der Haupteingangstür des Hauses. Hausbewohner gehen auch hier rein. Duscheingsng sehr, sehr schmal. Lage am Ende von Edinburgh, aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Trop petit La douche séparée en dehors de la pièce de vie il faut passer par un sas commun et le seul pour d’eau est en dehors de la pièce de vie.

La zona di Portobello, una sorta di sobborgo residenziale di Edimburgo, ha sicuramente il suo fascino e la vista sul mare toglie sempre il fiato; la camera era piccola, ma molto accogliente e confortevole, rispecchiava al 100% quanto scritto della proprietaria nella descrizione; ottima per chi cerca più che altro un appoggio per dormire.

La posizione non è proprio ottimale, a seconda della fascia oraria andare verso la Old Town di Edimburgo in bus può richiedere anche 35-40 minuti; il tragitto casa-aeroporto richiede almeno un'ora e 10. Il bagno si trova in corridoio vicino alla porta di ingresso condivisa, a qualcuno magari può dare fastidio. Barbara comunque è squisita e assolutamente non invadente.

I'm a solo traveller so wanted a safe secure place when visiting family and friends. The accommodation is a real wee gem and I loved staying there. The bed was made of a bed settee, a blow up mattress and a mattress topper. A warm continental quilt and comfy pillows. Dont be put off by the blow up mattress it was very comfortable. The furnishings are modern and bright and good lights. No TV if that is important to anyone-it wasn't for me I was out and about. The property has a lovely garden with furniture which is accessible to the rear. This is a small, very cosy and neat apartment great for me and what I wanted.

Slightly put off by he bathroom sink soap dispenser which sat on a block there was a bit of scum and leaked soap under the bottle. I only noticed this because I wanted to read the ingredients on the soap dispenser I was reassured that the soap was made with good ingredients and had a lovely smell. The entrance to the shower is quite tight which is mentioned in the property description-I am not a small person and I managed but some people may struggle.

Nous aurions apprécié un vrai lit bien stable (et non un canapé lit) avec un vrai matelas.

great location outside edinburgh city centre, fantastic beaches in mussleburgh and portebllio fantastic walks and scenery. Brilliant bus links to get anywhere you need to get to, and cheap all day tickets.

room small but useable, good place to stay for short period, not suitable for over a weeks stay, Could do with a radio in the room.
