Historic Tudor House in rural Hereford - inc breakfast

Perfect setting, beautiful historic building, great facilities, comfy beds, excellent breakfast, lovely host. Unbelievably good value 🌻

Really lovely quirky place - be brilliant for a family holiday. Tricky to get to though if you are in a larger vehicle and not a fan of single track roads.

The hot pastries and fresh orange juice were a real treat, and the hosts were kind enough to alter our breakfast time each day we were there.

The rooms are a little cold! To be fair though, we didn't ask for the heating to be put on, and the beds are extremely cosy.

When you stay at the Vauld you are truly living the dream - Stunning location, Fabulous room with everything that you can think of and possibly need and the warmest of welcomes - Throw in the horses, the dogs and Polo the cat and you have an idea of how idyllic this property really is - A real gem in the countryside.

Wonderful historic property over 500 years old. Very comfortable beds. Excellent modern shower room. We loved our stay there. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Our little dog was welcome too.

Nothing, it was all good, like staying in a living museum.

The four poster bed was one of the nicest beds I've ever slep in and the shower was fantastic. It needed to be to wake me up. I arrived late, so the views that greeted me from all windows was lovely.

I had expected a kitchen of some sort, with a sink etc. One bedroom has a dining table, fridge and microwave while a toaster over with hob was in the hallway. I may have misread but I was looking for an air bnb type property to return with girlfriend and dog, but this unfortunately won't do. I fthe 2nd bedroom was tunred into a kitchen/living/dining space I would return.
