Cape Town City Aparthotel

It was very comfortable, but had a sleeper couch that could only fit 1 person. There was only enough space for 3 adults, which was a problem as we had booked for 4 adults.

The room was larger than expected, and we had most of the things we needed all in one room.

We weren't informed that we'd need to buy electricity or what to do when it ran out. When the power went out, we contacted the host, but they were unreachable for a couple of hours. Eventually, we were instructed to go to the reception area with the electricity remote to put in electricity. Unfortunately, I ended up purchasing electricity at my own expense, they promised to pay me back, I am still waiting. The room had no mop and we didn't get our access card even after notifying the host- we had to rely on securities/receptionists to let us in and needed to wait outside if the security/receptionist was not at the front desk. If any problem arises, no one there can help. We were told to contact the host who is not always available.

No communication with the host. No access card as promised. Their cell phones have been off on arrival until we left. No cleaning and house keeping for our whole stay. Used same sheets and towels for four nights. Cleaning services requested at a cost. Reception lady didn’t wanna help. She said she knows nothing about level four. We were very stranded until we decided to take an access card that was left there with some keys

The room was very spacious and clean.

The area outside the lights was not working, so it was dark and also dirty with tree leaves. It's either we didn't know how to operate the TV, but it was nit working.

Conveniently located.

The message from the host says, key box is next to the door. I had given up and only to find the box next to the lift

There is no parking on the property, you'll have to pay R140 for parking behind the building and walk in a dark place with people sleeping in the streets. So unsafe

Overall disappointing stay. Wifi did not work Not enough towels, pillows or linen to accommodate a family of 4. The staff however at reception are exceptionally helpful and friendly.

It’s at city centre and nearer to attractive places

The receptionist (lady)that was working on the 12 th march day shift she was very rude ,mean impatient she shouted at us when we forget our access card in the room and she didn’t want to open main door for us … I really think she needs to fix her attitude

The property is nice, and comfortable. The room is spacious enough. The place needs to be more maintained. What is disappointing is the communication, the house keeping. We stayed there for 5 days and there was 4 of us but there was no one to empty the bins, we only had 2 toilet papers and two towels. No mats on the bed sides. Not enough cutlery, cups and glasses. To top it all was the cockroaches and bed bugs. The place needs proper cleaning.
