the location was not great and the personal was very unfriendly when we got there. The building is also not maintained and overlooks a bad deserted building

"Terrible inconvenience, will definitely not book there again, nor recommend it"

When we arrived to check in our room was still dirty, bed unmade and dirty towels still there. I tried calling the owner and only after numerous attempts, email and WhatsApp she answered and apologized perfusely for the mistake and said that the cleaner forgot about our room before she left. The cleaner had to come back all the way, as she was already on the bus on the way home. I get it, mistakes happen, however I feel if this was managed properly with someone actually supervising the cleaner, this wouldn't have happened. Surely someone needs to check that she did all her work allocated to her on the roster that day. I would like some compensation for the inconvenience and the fact that we couldn't check in properly and get ready for our event, with the cleaner there under our feet at the time of trying to get ready. I expect an apology (haven't even heard anything from the owner regarding our stay after that day) and compensation/refund of sorts to make up for this terrible experience
