Cozy, Cheerful & Charming Cabin - Historic Julian

Cute, well equipped with all the necessities, parking spot, beautiful yard and great porch for having coffee in the morning.

There was nothing I did not like. It was not fancy but nice and functional. The bathroom was small, but big enough.

The "cabin" was super close to both the mine we visited and the main stop with shops we wanted to visit.

I'm embarrassed to say I paid $250 to stay here with beaten up thrift store furniture and tiny tv. I grabbed a blanket to use off the bunk bed and it smelled like dog pee. For this price, you'd hope there would be coffee in the kitchen. This was closer to glamping than an Airbnb. We could have booked a room at a resort down the road for a third of the price. Only stay here if you are prepared for you and your car to leave dirty. We had trouble figuring out how to get into the property and the host did not answer the phone.

Kitchen and unique cabin feel was homey. Big private lot with relaxing porch felt comfortable yet walking distance to small town main street attractions.

Little more elbow room in bathroom would have been nice.

The location was amazing. The cabin was behind the old well, so walking distance was great. Parking was nice too.

1. Safety was a concern, there is no way to lock the front door from the inside, so sleeping overnight with kids inside and no way to prevent someone from walking in while sleeping was a HUGE issue for me. 2. I felt lied to and taken advantage of, the description does NOT portray the place accurately. It is a 2-room not a 2-bedroom as stated. The queen bed and couch are in the main room, the couch does not fold out to a bed like stated, the (1) set of bunk beds is crammed into the kitchen, again only 1 set, not 2 like stated. The listing says laundry on site, while this was true, the washer was full of wet laundry that had been there for who knows how long. We would NOT recommend this place. Had things been listed accurately-maybe.

It was gated, and in a okay area.

What I didn’t like was that it was incredibly packed in the small home, beds were in the living room AND kitchen, so the placement was definitely odd and uncomfortable. The bathroom was so very tiny, and the “second” bathroom they mentioned was literally outside! There were ants in the beds, and they bit up one of the people staying, there were two Hispanic guys taking pictures in front of the house and they were parked in front of the house which was pretty odd as well. Overall it was a sucky place.
