Acaster House, x4 rooms with en-suites x1 room private bathroom, street parking, close to train station

This room is not for older people or people with limited mobility - the ladder rungs are very far apart and I had a very very nasty fall missing a rung on the ladder I had to visit the doc and ended up black and blue but grateful I didn’t break any bones or knock myself out. The bath mat was very dirty but i didn’t use it and the sofa bed was not an option to sleep on due to a hard wooded middle ridge. The bathroom smelt mouldy

The house is squeaky clean and very well maintained.

The room I was staying in only had a loft bed. During the heat wave in summer, the bed was far too warm. I was sweating all night. There was barely any ventilation. I could not sleep all night due to the heat. Clearly the room was not designed to sleep in the warm summer. Also this place is falsely advertised as having a parking. However it has no dedicated parking facility. Finding a street parking near this place is very very difficult.

Nice rooms with a bed that's held by beams above the main area, which is a compact design

Toilets are downstairs, but are clean and wasn't as much as an issue as I first thought

They have provided all the necessary information and facilities. It was clean and easy to access. It located near the town easy to travel.

Worn old furniture that wasn’t comfortable. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean.
