Crowthorne House, beautiful 3 bedroom Home for upto 8 Guests, with sofa bed Cul-de-sac with Private Driveway

Kitchen, bedrooms and lounge were fine. Facilities provided were good, clean and well maintained on the whole. Short stay only recommended.

Heating control was poor for a winter stay and we had to prompt for a boost when this should have set from the outset as no other means of additional heating. Driveway could only accommodate 2 small cars with difficulty and true picture may have swayed my booking. Departure day was interesting in that staff were parked outside at 9.20am as were were packing to leave, very business like.

I booked this accomodation for a get together with my friends I liked the lounge and kitchen cum dining area where we all could sit and be together. The smart TV with U-tube was good

This accomodation was in midst of residential houses and road parking was full with neighbours cars and vans. Though the property had a tiny drive where we could park one small car the rest of the cars had be parked away from the property The accomodation states it stays 8, the facilities inside provided were only for 5 or max 6 Starting from cutleries, cups, glasses, plates there were only 5 or 6 of each There were few old teabags and an opened coffee packet left with few small milk pods in the tray. No initial welcome milk or goodies for the start Luckily we had good weather as we had no control over heating as we had to inform the owner to increase or decrease heating or even had to inform them when we are out so heating could be controlled from their end There was a dish washer but with no tablets ( which they could have left 2-3 tablets) The kitchen cleaning stuff were very minimal and they expected us to leave the house as they found The bathroom was new and clean but there was only 1 x toilet roll in the toilet which did stress all 7 of us as nobody thought of carrying toilet rolls and guessed the property would include this in the cost. The bath ttub did not have a bath mat so the risk of slipping in the bath was high especially after we had some SPA The beds were too small for adults and I had couple of my friends slip down at night 1 x toilet for 8 people was not feasible but the accomodation stated this in the advert There was a cleaning charge expected £40 but no facilities provided to clean and expected us to leave the house as we found which I think is too much to ask after we have paid the whole amount.

House was nice comfortable and relaxing and definitely will consider staying there again.

Having one bathroom for the house, having to pay cleaning fee after the final payment from booking.com. Basically that was an additional cost

Clean, well organised, very responsive

Minor point, the kitchen could be better equip'd, as we stayed over christmas we did some cooking, so a potato masher, few more glasses, plates etc would be better.
