The guest beds was like sleeping on a plank of wood. The TV didn't work. Lack of mugs as only 3 was 6 where booked. The shower head wouldn't stay raised up. The shower doors was dodgy

the flat itself was modern and fairly comfortable. although the ‘sofa’ beds were rather uncomfortable.

after returning from an exhausting and sweaty day of a fencing competition we found that the shower was blocked. it took ages to finally get through to a person and when they finally answered to our texts they could only offer to allow access to the next door flat. this seemed fine at first but upon entering the corridor it was clear that this was still under construction. paint, tools, and other building equipment were left about the place. not to mention how dusty the whole corridor and entrance were. we were told that they would sort something out asap. unfortunately (not the owners fault) a plumber would not be available until Monday. when asked whether they could provide a plunger and or some unblocker they responded in a such a ‘we can’t be bothered’ manner and said to move to the other flat, much to our inconvenience as we had all our fencing equipment and clothes to move up. and throughout this inconvenience, not once did did the owner offer any form of compensation for the inconvenience caused during our stay.

Excellent location

I travel to Brighton a lot and this is hands down the worst place I have ever stayed.

The apartment is in a dark entrance full of pee on the floor, with several garbage cans and rubbish on the floor, with the entrance ramped down. The apartment had a water leak in the kitchen, they had fixed it by putting the bathroom rug and a pan under it to collect the water. The toilet is not well fitted to the floor and it moves. When you use the sink, the dirty water comes out of the shower drain. When you shower, it does not swallow the water, so you have to turn off the tap. I complained on several occasions so that at least the water leak could be repaired (since it seemed dangerous to me since if you weren't even collecting the water you would find the entire kitchen flooded all the time) and they kept me waiting for a whole day without anyone coming, the next day the same. I am claiming them and they do not give me the invoice with the intention that I cannot make the claim with my bank. I certainly do not recommend the site because they do not take the customer or the quality of service seriously, they just want to make money.

The staff we had a shocking night due to upstairs banging and we complained as we had a 6h journey ahead of us and they done nothing to help us refused us any money back after paying 307

Good points were the location which was very central. The place was easy to find. The apartment was clean and tidy. Good kitchen and cooking facilities. It was easy to check in and out.

The TV did not work in the lounge which was not really an issue but would of been nice. In the bedroom there were no plugs next to the bed and no bedside tables which would of been handy. It would of been nice to have lamps in the bedroom rather than using the big light. In the kitchen there were only 2 chairs around the table which was not ideal when there were 3 of us, unsure how 6 people would of managed! The sofa in the lounge was uncomfortable. Overall the communication was good but we did ask advise about parking and didn’t get a response.

Location was good in respect of being central.

There was no tv in the bedroom. No bedside tables or electric points to use by the bed, this for me is standard so didnt think i had to specifically check for that to be there.. Lights had to be either on full and blinding or off as you couldn't put the blinds up at all unless you wanted the busy thoroughfair of people being able to see the entire apartment, no privacy at all. We had to have them closed the entire weekend. The TV in lounge didn't work. No WiFi code was left out for ease, we had to squint at back of router to find it. You couldn't use the sofa to sit on it was like sitting on rock. Not sure where the 6 people would sleep if six people were to stay ? There is only seating for two at a bistro table as well??? The toilet door didn't shut properly, the shower not powerful and if you're over 5ft get ready to crouch as the shower head won't stay above a certain height. The heating was an absolute nightmare, again no instructions and we were freezing at one point. Very noisy until gone midnight with people heading home after pub/club closing times. Very disappointing for my husbands birthday weekend away. Wouldn't recommend and I definitely wont be rebooking. Really annoyed I relied on star rating and didn't read previous reviews.
